Free Roadside Assistance - Service Provided
If the vehicle breaks down at the roadside or at home and is immobilised, Roadside
Assistance is available to get it back on the road. This may be a permanent repair or a temporary solution to keep the vehicle mobile until a permanent repair can be performed.
If it is not possible to repair the vehicle at the roadside, a suitable recovery will be arranged for the vehicle to be taken to the nearest Citroën / Peugeot / DS Authorised Repairer or Independent Motor Trader of the driver’s choice up to a distance of 10 miles from the breakdown location.
If the vehicle is recovered, a taxi journey for the driver and passengers to continue the journey to a single destination up to 20 miles will be provided.
Roadside Assistance - How to Engage the Service

Required information to be supplied by the driver:
1. The vehicle’s make, model and registration number
2. The exact location of the vehicle – the road you are on or the nearest road junction
3. Contact telephone number
4. The cause of the breakdown, if known
During the initial contact, the Peugeot Roadside Assistance team will work with
the driver to confirm any special requirements.
Roadside Assistance - Services not included
The service only covers manufacturer-based or mechanical faults on the vehicle.
The cost of any parts or specialist services required to complete the vehicle repair remains the customer’s responsibility. This also includes any breakdowns resulting from a fault that has previously been attended to where the original fault has not been properly repaired or advice given has not been followed after a temporary repair. Onwards mobility is not covered to work / home.
Who is covered?
All NHS staff driving a Peugeot / Citroën / DS vehicle with a current NHS Care Identity Number (Smart Card) or Trust ID Badge, which will be required to support their eligibility to the programme.
At Home Service
If the vehicle breaks down at home, the Roadside Assistance service will still be provided. If the vehicle cannot be repaired, it will be transported to the nearest Citroën / Peugeot / DS Authorised Repairer or Independent Motor Trader of the customer’s choice up to a maximum of 10 miles.
